Weaving together archival footage, video fragments, and the artist's own recordings, the work follows the full arc of these once-ubiquitous urban structures from their flourishing presence at the heart of everyday Polish city life to their gradual disappearance and the empty traces they leave behind in the urban fabric.The work unfolds as a quiet elegy for a vanishing part of the Polish cityscape, documenting not only what has been lost, but what remains: the weathered remnants and forgotten outlines still embedded in the streets of Polish cities.

Echo eines polnischen Alltags (03.03.2026 - 11.03.2026)The sound and light installation [ˈkjɔsk] reconstructs the facade of a Polish street kiosk in the classic functional design characteristic of these structures, defined by the distinctive shades of green associated with the kiosks of the Ruch company, once a ubiquitous presence in Polish cities. Through alienated audio fragments: composed of conversation recordings, interviews, and urban ambient sounds the work evokes a living memory that gradually fades alongside the disappearance of these kiosks from the Polish urban landscape.Central to the work, alongside the sound piece and its corresponding blinking fluorescent tube, is the panel at the heart of the installation: an original structural component from a kiosk in Bydgoszcz, which also establishes the historical framework of the piece. Complementing the soundscape, the kiosk carries its own heartbeat, a subtle pulse that quickens as the viewer approaches, reflecting the reawakening of a fading memory.

The viewer follows a fictional character through a residential housing estate, an environment that initially seems familiar and ordinary. As the series unfolds, a growing sense of alienation emerges. The character increasingly disconnects from his surroundings, haunted by feelings of isolation and a creeping awareness of being watched.

Junge Kunst - mixed! (15.12.2024 - 10.01.2025)No More Balloons is a four-part photographic series that explores the burden of trauma and painful memories, symbolized by red balloons. Divided into two chapters, the first part (images by the lake) visualizes a state of emotional overwhelm and loss of control. The portrayed character appears to be manipulated and steered by the weight of these unresolved experiences.In contrast, the second part (images in the snow) represents a process of confrontation and acceptance. Through engaging with these inner struggles, the figure gradually regains a sense of autonomy - acknowledging the trauma as part of themselves, rather than something that defines them.
